- Bill Anderson Added July 25, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆A relatively quick trip Nuriootpa attending to business and decided to pick somewhere for lunch. Looked appealing enough... not bad reviews so decided this will work OK. The menu offered some specials as well as all day breakfasts the regular cafe lunch options, attractive cakes and of course coffee.
We order, pay, take a seat and waited (feeling quite hungry) and waited.... waited.... waited
26 minutes after our order we finally get our coffees. Another 7 or 8 before my sons toasted sandwich ( minus the fries ordered ) then another 5 before our BLT special arrives at the table. That's a huge wait for what is little more than a toasted sandwich. "So sorry for the wait" is all we get.
To be honest the wait wasn't worth it. The BLT was greasy, the bacon way over cooked and left us feeling "very average" for the rest of the day.
Will I go back or recommend? Not a chance. Shame
